WIN: Orchard Toys Rhyme Robber game

I’m afraid imaginative play is really not my strong point as a parent. One sentence that can bring me out in a cold sweat is: “Mummy, let’s play the caravan game”. This involves, as I’m sure you’ve guessed, playing out going on a caravanning holiday. Packing, travelling, unpacking, cooking, eating, sleeping – that bit never lasts long enough.

I’m either surreptitiously reading Twitter on my phone or I suggest that my little boy gets started with the packing and I’ll join in once I’ve – erm – yes – well.....

They're fun and educational, with fantastic illustrations, and I love playing them with my son. Each one is so thoughtfully designed with early years education in mind that counting, language awareness and colour recognition are incorporated into the activity effortlessly. From his first Big Bus jigsaw puzzle, a second birthday present, through various counting games like Spotty Dogs and Ladybirds, to some of the more grown-up games he has now, we have happy memories and happy times with all.
